Allahabad
high court has passed a legal order to the Greater Noida authority for returning
the land acquired from the villagers of Patwari to its original owners within
two months. This is a setback for builders in Greater Noida.
The
farmers said that In spite of a court order “Greater Noida authority has not
returned the land acquired against their wishes.” On the behalf of appeal of
farmers, The Justice Vikram Nath has already approved a legal order. The court
has given an order for the authorities to announce a detail list of land
acquisitions.
A
claimant, Harkan Singh had filed a defamation suit against the authority
pleading, while keeping a notice of court declaration of land acquisition of
589 acres in Patwari village on July 19 2011, the Greater Noida authority did
not return the land to the farmers. This court had agreed a presiding against
the authority as it had not taken the estimation of the farmers before starting
the acquisition procedure in 2008.
The
Greater Noida authority has not taken the decision according the farmer’s
advice before the starting the acquisition course in 2008, so the court had
taken the action against the Greater Noida authority. This authority moved to
the Supreme Court for the stay on the HC court but the authority did not get
any type of relief.
