Office Space Absorption is to be expected to
increase seven percent in this year to 29 million square feet in the nation’s
seven major cities as corporates look at escalating trades, says the recent
report of global real estate consultant DTZ. Absorption was 27 million square
feet previous year in 7 cities- Delhi NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai,
Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
By the recent report on India office demand and
trends, DTZ also predictable that office rentals would endure stable in the most
markets in the first half of 2014 and rentals would begin intensifying from the
second half.
According to DTZ recent report, most corporates are
expected to make the good planning for rapid expansion in the next few months
with the complete take up prediction to grow in the year 2014 especially in the
second of the year.
Economy is estimated to grow at broadly higher rate
in 2014 than 2013. It will finally feed through to produce healthy demand for
the real estate sector. As a result, office space take up is planning to
project to reach 28.9 million square feet in 2014, the rapid progress of seven
percent, it added.
