BJP, The Bharatiya Janata Party led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government succeeded to win Lok Sabha approval for new land acquisition bill. The Lok Sabha has passed this acquisition law with nine amendments to its Bill anticipate to appease the Opposition, but the centre government refused to bring back the approval section. The approval of Lok Sabha on Tuesday for the amended land acquisition bill makes easier and simpler to acquire land for the selected projects.

This bill includes 1. Defence 2. Rural infrastructure, 3. Affordable housing 4. Industrial corridors 5. Infrastructure projects including Public Private Partnership (PPP) missions.
