Two Proposed Metro Routes Boosts Metro Connectivity in Greater Noida

In the month of March, the Noida authority is going to finalize the completed and detailed project report (DPR) for new two metro routes. These two routes measure nearly 27.5 km are probably to come up at mutual cost of approximately Rs. 5,500 crores and will bring Noida extension and Greater Noida very closer to the capital city, Delhi. 

By the official sources, If DPRS finalize two proposed metro routes, MOU could be inked in the coming 6 months. The executive director of NMRC said that, “If the metro plan will be finalized and approved by the state government, MOU will be signed and the assignment of the construction will start soon, Singh explained deeply.”

The plan is to start from Noida Sector 71 and it is also covering Greater Noida Metro link comprising Noida, Noida Extension and Greater Noida. The DPR is successfully planned routes from sector 71 to Greater Noida Knowledge Park V via Noida sectors 122 and 123, Greater Noida Sector 4, Ecotech 12, Greater Noida sectors 2, 3 and 10. 

The Greater Noida route will be connected to Noida City Centre via stations at Pari Chowk and Sectors-147, 143, 85, 101 and 50 in Noida, said by Singh. As per official sources, the estimated cost of the proposed metro routes is nearly predicted Rs 5,500 crore. The tracks will cost a predictable Rs.200 crore/km.
